Explicit Ink Tattoo Studio is a home-based studio located in St Albans, Victoria, Melbourne, Australia.

Head artist Pete is the man to see. He can create you a custom piece, cover up an old tattoo, or apply an existing tattoo or idea you have brought in to create a masterpiece on your skin.

The best part about the studio is that it is a quiet and private location. Even though, there are a few artists, each has their own private room so you are not exposed to multiple people walking by.

Even though it is a home-based studio, it is fully registered, compliant with local council regulations and is subject to multiple health and safety inspections to ensure customer safety and health codes.

Pete was born and raised in Melbourne, and had always dreamt of using his creativity and natural artistic talent ever since being a young kid.

"I fell in love with the art form of tattooing and felt that it was my calling". He says. Before being fortunate enough to break into the industry, Pete worked as a Graphic Designer for around ten years, which further developed his skill set and knowledge as an artist. His passion for tattooing never faded though and he eventually decided it was time to make his dream a reality!

Pete runs Explicit Ink Tattoo in his home studio in Hillside, Victoria.
Even though it is a home based studio, it is fully certified and registered with the council. The studio is subject to regular health and safety inspections to ensure all elements are up to code for client safety. It also means that you get a nice private and relaxed experience without the embarrassment of multiple customers and artists walking past and watching!
